What is it?
Medical grade microneedling therapy is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). This therapy triggers the body’s own healing process, stimulating cell proliferation and initiating the formation of new collagen. This results in a thicker and more supple cellular matrix, which gives visibly younger looking skin.
Medical grade microneedling therapy causes minimally invasive precision micro-injuries of the epidermis and dermis, without causing open wounds or ablative damage. The puncturing channels close after a short time and these micro-injuries trigger the body’s wound healing cascade, which induces an increased collagen production in the treated skin.
Medical grade microneedling therapy triggers the construction of new tissue by stimulating healthy cell regeneration in precision-targeted areas that show the signs of aging. It effectively reduces wrinkles, improves skin tone and texture, tightens and thickens the skin, and – perhaps most impressively – fills and smooths scars.

Recommendation

Downtime
Downtime of 24-72 hours – may experience mild peeling.
Aftercare
Avoid exercise, saunas, hot tubs and Jacuzzis for 48 hours. Use a clean pillowcase. Avoid alcohol and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications for 24 hours. Medical grade skin care products to support a healthy skin barrier and SPF to protect from UV exposure.

Hyaluronic Acid (Hyal) – Hyal is a substance that is naturally present in the human body and it works by acting as a cushion and lubricant in the tissues. After numbing the area being treated, the Hyal is reapplied to the skin using a micro-needling device. It is often applied to the skin for healing wounds, burns, skin ulcers, and as a moisturizer.
Platelet Rich Plasma – PRP | Vampire Facial

PRP is blood plasma that has been enriched with platelets. As a concentrated source of platelets, PRP contains several different growth factors that stimulate healing of soft tissue. A small volume of blood is drawn from the patient’s arm and processed immediately in a special centrifuge. This concentrates and separates the platelet-rich plasma from the rest of the blood. After numbing the area being treated, the PRP is reapplied to the skin using a micro-needling device. Skin rejuvenation results are apparent 1 to 3 months after treatment.
