What is it?

Chemical peels help to improve the texture and appearance of your skin. The combination of glycolic and lactic acids removes dead cells from the surface of the skin and aids in clearing acne and helping fade hyperpigmentation. Gel peel hydrates the skin and revitalizes the appearance of photo damaged skin. Chemical peels are of various types—each with a unique pH level, application method, and timing.

Recommendation

This will depend on your skin condition. Recommendation of 4-6 initial treatments, 2-4 weeks apart. Maintenance thereafter, 3-4 times a year.

Downtime

Minimal downtime and mild peeling 24-72 hours.

Aftercare

Avoid exercise, saunas, hot tubs and Jacuzzis for 48 hours. Do not pick flaking skin, let it shed naturally. Medical grade skin care products to support a healthy skin barrier and SPF to protect from UV exposure.
